a bit about me:
I am currently a senior at Eastern Michigan University. I am majoring in communication and have a minor in general business. I have always held an interest in social media and website design. I have created a few websites in my past and was thrilled to help a nonprofit create a user and creator-friendly website. My background in website design and my organizational skills have led me to effectively communicate with this organization and I hope to continue to use my skills to assist other organizations to effectively communicate their businesses goals with consumers.
My Capstone Project
Social Media Organizer for
Days for Girls Farmington/Livonia.
I worked with Days for Girls to create a website and to revamp their social media. I was responsible for updating a website that was currently in use, but instead, I started from scratch to give them all the necessary components that they wanted to be included. Along with meeting their points, I took liberties in the design to give a more modern and consumer-ready feel. I made small updates on their Facebook and Instagram to further develop and make them more user-friendly. I also volunteered in-person to get ready for and participate in the packing of their kits.
